With a background in Classical Rhetorical Theory, Clinical Neuroscience, and various dance forms including Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and Latin Ballroom, Ilya has spent most of his time synthesizing his academic and artistic interests to investigate holistic organization of the mind and body. A graduate of Harvard University, Ilya’s doctoral research focuses on improvisation, somatics, and embodied cognition, particularly in the realm of education, performing arts, and clinical practice.
